AUX Architecture is a Los Angeles–based architecture and design studio founded by Brian Wickersham in 2008. Working across residential, cultural, commercial, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse projects, the studio brings together architectural clarity, material sensitivity, and a strong focus on the people who experience each space. AUX approaches design through collaboration, functionality, sustainability, and careful attention to detail. Its portfolio ranges from single-family residences and multifamily housing to performing arts venues, galleries, community spaces, and urban developments. Across different scales and typologies, the studio seeks to create sophisticated environments that are both highly functional and engaging to inhabit. Led by Wickersham and supported by a multidisciplinary team of architects and designers, AUX combines technical expertise with a process-driven approach to architecture. The studio’s work has received recognition from organizations including AIA Los Angeles and AIA California and has been featured in publications such as Dezeen, Dwell, Metropolis, the Los Angeles Times, and The Plan.
