Women’s Soccer Practice Facility

The Women’s Soccer Practice Facility by AUX Architecture is a concept-design-complete cultural and civic sports project in Los Angeles for a confidential client. Roughly 118,500 square feet of professional women’s soccer training program is composed as a blend of opacities and slightly shifting building masses—an architectural duality AUX Architecture links to soccer’s mix of complex strategy and simple execution.

Rather than separating coaches and players, two wings merge as a second-story bridge that carries access through the building to the soccer pitch and registers a grade change at the lobby. All masses are clad in a veil of impact-resistant polycarbonate that peels strategically from the envelope to reveal program and to keep interiors light-filled, supporting inclusivity and team unity.

The published brief includes training areas, communal spaces, and wellness zones aimed at peak performance and holistic well-being. Taxonomy places the work under Cultural & Civic and Strategic & Master Planning. No completion year is published; status remains Concept Design Complete.
