About the Project

Beverly Glen Build is a Bel Air new construction project by Ethan Charles Design in Los Angeles, California. Framed as a second home with nothing secondary about it, the residence was designed from the ground up over three years for clients who wanted city proximity without giving up a sense of escape—built for living well and entertaining with ease.

The kitchen sets the project’s tone. Bespoke lighting, quartz-clad walls, and a textured waterfall island give the room strong material presence; the kitchen slabs are noted as a favorite piece, underscoring how stone and lighting carry the architecture of the space. A statement powder bath announces itself with deliberate contrast, while the primary bathroom is conceived as a private spa—an interior meant to slow exit rather than rush circulation.

Spatially, the home supports both everyday use and hosting. Contemporary in feeling and aimed at timeless execution, Beverly Glen Build keeps interior architecture, millwork-adjacent surfaces, and lighting in a coherent contemporary residential design language. Ethan Charles Design’s Los Angeles interior design approach here is clear: new construction calibrated for entertainment and retreat in the same envelope, with material decisions (quartz, lighting, bath finishes) doing the expressive work rather than generic luxury claims.
