Willamette Pool House

Willamette Pool House stands on a bluff above the Willamette River in Newberg, Oregon, with long views in both directions along the valley. Fieldwork Design & Architecture lists architecture, furniture, and interiors in the project scope.

Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open the pavilion to the outdoors, and an Oregon white oak ceiling continues from inside to outside so the main room and terrace share one material register. Skylights bring daylight onto the steam shower’s tiled walls and a custom concrete sink, keeping the wet rooms bright without relying only on wall glazing.

The building is a pool house retreat tied to river and bluff views rather than a street-facing residence. Collaborators listed by Fieldwork include Grummel. Photography by Dana Klein.
