Pause Studio – Brentwood

Pause Studio Brentwood is a completed wellness interior in Los Angeles by Studio Murnane, measuring about 2,800 square feet. After designing two earlier Pause locations, the studio pushed this Brentwood project toward a more premium arrival: natural light immediately quiets the entry sequence, setting a slower tempo before treatment or studio use begins for arriving guests.

Material and finish choices lean into a Moroccan-style hammam register: indigo textiles, oceanic marble, hand-made sculptures, custom vanities, and ceramic tile showers. Touch points are treated as invitations to turn inward rather than as decorative extras. Biophilic design ties guest orientation, safety, and wellbeing to restorative effects the brand associates with Pause, so landscape references and interior surfaces work as one environmental system.

As commercial wellness architecture and interior design in Los Angeles, the project organizes sanctuary and relaxation as spatial problems: light, material temperature, and sequence matter as much as branding. The Brentwood location extends Studio Murnane Pause work with a denser material language while keeping circulation calm and legible for guests moving through arrival, preparation, and recovery rooms across the plan.
