About the Project

Noah is a Los Angeles retail flagship by Studio Murnane, who served as Architect of Record for the New York streetwear label new West Coast store. Developed with Noah co-founder and interior designer Estelle Bailey-Babenzien, the project translates a contemporary streetwear brand into a built retail environment of about 5,000 square feet.

Rather than treating the shop as a temporary backdrop, architecture and interior design work together to carry brand character into space, balancing classic preppy references with an understated, lived-in atmosphere the studio describes as elevated and approachable. Spatial organization supports retail circulation and display while keeping the room from reading as a hard showroom shell. Materials and finishes stay restrained so merchandise and brand identity remain in the foreground of the customer path through the store.

As commercial architecture in Los Angeles, the store operates as a flagship: a permanent physical framework for shopping, browsing, and brand encounter rather than a pop-up set. Studio Murnane Architect of Record role anchors the project in construction coordination as much as in interior atmosphere, aligning retail program with a coherent architectural envelope for daily use.
