FB-01

FB-01 is a steel armchair designed by Yuzo Kosaka, defined by a precise architectural frame, curved backrest, and a distinctive slatted seat structure. The design explores the relationship between line, structure, and negative space, creating a chair that feels both graphic and lightweight despite its metal construction.

Made from steel, FB-01 combines a minimal material palette with a strong sculptural presence. The curved upper frame softens the geometry of the chair, while the repeated linear elements across the seat create rhythm and visual transparency. Its restrained form allows the material and construction to become central to the overall design.
