Slide

Slide, designed by Daniele Lago for Natural Genius, builds flooring from three rectangular-trapezoid modules whose geometric relations generate horizontal and vertical patterns. The project positions composition as participatory: designers and clients can assemble lozenge-like fields from the limited module set rather than accept a single stock layout.

The Natural Genius Slide technical sheet states a high-end two-layer engineered product offered in two versions: a hardwood-floor version complying with UNI EN 13489:2018, and a modular floor-covering version complying with UNI EN 14354 available only upon request. For the hardwood-floor version, total thickness is 12.5 mm, top layer 3.5 mm of Oak or American Walnut or Ash, multilayer birch plywood support, approximate weight 9 kg/m², glued installation. Modules are groove-profiled on four sides with supplied split tongues and bevels on all edges. Gluing conforms to UNI EN 204 class D4 and JAS Type II.

Colours published on the product page include Oak Biancospino, Oak Montblanc, Oak Tortora, American Walnut, and Graphit G2 variants. Confirm module availability, species, and finish against the current Price List before specification.

Slide is suited to interiors that need a mathematically driven modular field without locking the design to a single repeating herringbone or plank direction.
