Nui

Nui is Listone Giordano’s Natural Genius wood flooring designed by architect Piero Lissoni. The collection treats large engineered boards as joinery rather than ornament, using a restrained “seam” detail that recalls Japanese Sashimono dry wood connections—literally “things joined”—without turning fasteners into surface decoration.

Official product pages present Nui as a dialogue between craft lineage and contemporary minimalism: the joinery line becomes the primary aesthetic register, laid without artifice so the boards read as furniture-scale timber on the floor plane. Two installation patterns—Nui 01 and Nui 02—organize the module set.

The Natural Genius Nui technical sheet specifies a high-end two-layer engineered hardwood with a top layer and crossed-fibre birch plywood support complying with UNI EN 13489:2018. Published module sizes cover widths of 140 mm and 190 mm with lengths of 1170 mm and 1470 mm for both Nui 01 and Nui 02. Total thickness is 12.5 mm with a 3.5 mm top layer; approximate weight is 9.4 kg/m². Installation is glued. Top–support gluing conforms to UNI EN 204 class D4 and JAS Type II test requirements as stated on the sheet.

Colours published on the English product page include Oak Civita 1695, Oak Grigio Porfido, and Ash Graphit G2. Specifiers should confirm grade, finish cycle, and availability against the current Listone Giordano Price List and FP 01 / GC 01 finish and grade sheets before tender.
