The Jacquard collection reinterprets textile tradition through a ceramic surface. Hand-painted black strokes unfold across the clay’s rough skin as organic forms that merge seamlessly with the piece.

In this piece, a broad black stroke flows across the surface with ease, unfolding in curves that emphasize the body’s generous form. The line does not decorate; it merges with the material, echoing the rough texture of the clay in a continuous, enveloping gesture. In this way, the form and the marks converge into a sculptural presence that unites strength and fluidity in a single language.

The gesture of the painted line introduces a dialogue between drawing and volume. Rather than sitting on the surface as decoration, the mark behaves like a continuation of the form itself, wrapping around the body and reinforcing its movement. The contrast between the dark graphic stroke and the light clay body emphasizes the tactile quality of the material, allowing the drawing to remain bold while still respecting the natural texture of the ceramic. Each piece is painted by hand, so the gesture retains a spontaneous character and subtle variations appear from one object to another.
