Cross Coffee Table

The idea behind the Cross Coffee Table project was to explore how a minimal intervention applied to simple forms could create an entirely new spatial character. The starting point consisted of two identical elements that, when placed crosswise, generate a sense of movement, playfulness, and interaction, creating a dynamic composition that gives the object an almost architectural presence.

The intention was not to design a conventional coffee table, but rather to create an object that feels light and sculptural despite its simple construction. A strong focus was placed on balancing rationality and playfulness — combining clean geometric lines with an unexpected visual composition created through the intersection of the elements.
