Ornella

Ornella is an IMPACT Acoustic hanging room divider inspired by ornament, using a decorative hanging rhythm to bring softness and a sense of craft into open interiors. Felt elements filter views rather than closing them off, creating privacy with a lighter touch than opaque demountable walls.

Panels are ARCHISONIC® Felt (100% PET, 60% Certified Post-Consumer Content) in 45 colours. Product sizes follow the Hanging Division set: 1200 × 2800 × 12 mm, 1800 × 2400 × 24 mm, and 900 × 2400 × 24 mm. Official documentation lists stainless-steel suspension kits for 12 mm and 24 mm panels.

Coordinate hanging points, cable lengths, and stacking with the Hanging Division assembly instructions. Acoustic scheduling should reference the Hanging Division datasheet object absorption data for the selected thickness and pattern rather than inventing NRC figures.

Align hanging heights with door clearances and sprinkler/light planes, and verify stainless suspension kit selection for 12 mm versus 24 mm panels. Pattern continuity across adjacent Ornella units should be checked on shop drawings before fabrication.
