About

Wood-burning fire pit Bubble is a compact outdoor heating element designed by Christophe Ployé for Focus, combining sculptural simplicity with durable performance. Developed as part of Focus’s outdoor collection, the Bubble offers a minimal yet iconic circular form that functions as both a heat source and a visual centerpiece for gardens, terraces, and open-air environments.

Defined by its smooth spherical basin, the design is achieved through a specialized metal spinning technique, where steel is formed over a custom mold to eliminate visible weld seams. This results in a seamless surface with high structural integrity and refined craftsmanship, distinguishing it from conventional fire pits.

The Bubble is fully freestanding and requires no fixed installation, making it highly flexible for outdoor layouts. It can be easily positioned on terraces, patios, or garden surfaces, adapting to both residential and hospitality settings. Its deep basin structure ensures a controlled burn while visually enhancing the flame experience.

Designed for practicality, the unit includes a removable basin for easy cleaning and maintenance, along with discreet rear wheels that allow effortless repositioning. The anti-corrosion matte black finish protects the steel body from outdoor conditions and high temperatures, ensuring long-term durability.

Recognized with the German Design Award, the Bubble fire pit reflects Focus’s commitment to merging engineering precision with sculptural design, delivering a timeless outdoor object that enhances both atmosphere and spatial identity.
